January Transfer Window

With the upcoming January transfer coming up....

Will there be any surprise moves within clubs?
What would be the best or worst move (acquire or sell) your club could make?

I see Crouch moving this January. He has no choice. He is the 4th choice striker at Liverpool and who knows if there will be another one coming in!! Plus if he wants to be part of the WC qualifiers, he has to make himself be notice and the only way to do that is to play first team football. And that is not happening at Liverpool.

Ditto.

If Gilbo does go in January (I hope AW does his best to keep him) we need to bolster our defense.

An original left winger could be helpful too.

Problem for us isn't just about potential targets we may recruit.....it's also trying to fend off clubs trying to poach our best players.......for which I'm sure Chris Commons will more than likely attract attention from some Championship clubs

yeah, someone to replace Senderos. He didn't not play well in the CL match. Although a good defender he does a few too many mistakes for my liking.

I think anyone who is looking for a striker and can pay the sum for him, should definitely go for him. Hes experienced, got a good few years left in him and can score regularly.

On the defender situation, its a tough one. Like most Arsenal fans, I'm sure when his name is read out on the squad sheet, everyone immediatly feels uncomfortable. I really don't know why Djourou was loaned out, vice-versa would have been appropriate.

But if we were to buy a defender, would we have to get rid of someone? Senderos is 3rd in the pecking order so surely Wenger will let him go?

This is what boro needs

A new goalkeeper
