Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker will return after missing the 2-1 home defeat to Arsenal through suspension.

But Villa will be without Stiliyan Petrov who has been ruled out for up to two weeks after suffering a hamstring injury against the Gunners.

Portsmouth will be without defensive trio Lauren (hamstring), Martin Cranie (broken leg) and Linvoy Primus (knee).

Sean Davis (hamstring) is also likely to miss out, with Pedro Mendes set to continue in the midfield anchor-role.

i heard someone say the the other day on tele, but i stil dont know, i think he will turn out to be another Mclaren, not useless but he will be used as a scape goat by the FA
