The recent Premiership wins against Man City and Portsmouth had me purring and I was eagerly waiting for the clash with Arsenal at the Emirates this coming Saturday. After last nights excellent win in the Carling, I’ve climbed down off cloud nine and come to a conclusion. We’re not good enough to do Arsenal. We’re nowhere near good enough. We might give then a decent game at the Lane but not on their patch. So, I’m expecting a defeat this coming Saturday with the comforting thought that we’ve then got two home Premiership games against Fulham and Reading. Tottenham are nowhere near any of the ‘top four’ at the moment but with this sequence of results since Ramos and Poyet took over, WDWWDWLDWWW, maybe there’s an outside chance of a top 7 place for us this season. We’re a massive 15 points off the pace at the moment and that’s disappointing after the last two seasons but with the new management in place, I think there’s a happy future ahead for the Spurs.
