Should be a very entertaining game, we both need points urgently.

Boro should win this one easily. Charltons last match was a loss to Wycombe that ended with the team being booed off the pitch. I really can't see Boro NOT winning this match.
like Bernie said in the gazzette, if we don't win this game, its curtains for us.
I can see Charlton getting a point out of this. Gut feeling it will either be 0-0 or a 1-1 draw.
A very important game, both teams need the points. I can't see Chalrton going home with anything, only a smaller goal-difference. 1-0 Boro. It's the end for Chalrton i'm afraid.
Haven't seen a team play worse than Charlton did last weekend then they lost to a team three leagues below them.
Surely Boro can't lose this one...

OH NO, DON'T SAY THAT!!!!
We will probably make it hard for ourselves, but hopefully we can get all 3 points.

No i think we will win this one. I just have a funny feeling. We have been playing so badly lately that it can't possibly get any worse. Ok the last game was better, so hopefully this one can be even better, we have wood gate back also so the defense will be a lot better straight away.
Hopefully both will go down.

Hopefully both will go down.
Can you please elaborate on this with reasons why you want both clubs to go down.
Sure,
Charlton- less london teams + them being generally pricks every time with the allocation.
Boro- Horrible place, horrible team, don't like them.
Sorry.

There really justified reasons mate
Should be a passionate game. Not about performances now for both these teams. All about results.

fair enough, I disagree with Middlesbrough being horrible, I think its a okay place. Fair enough we have out bad areas and a lot of them like the area around the Riverside but thats all being done up next year.
I don't like United either :)

With Sheff wed winning and Newcastle and Blackburn winning at the moment its not looking good for Middlesbrough, we need to win this game today.

This is a game that Boro needed, home to Charlton. Les Reed will be looking for a new job soon imo.

We are all over them which is nice for a change. They haven't even had a shot i don't think. We could be 5 or 6 up if some of the shots were on target. A good convincing win is on the cards.

How poor are Charltons defence? Jesus, Les Reid has changed the formation to have 6 in defence and they still cant defend their grandma from a kitten.

6 in defence!!! Thats wrong isn't it. They should start to attack as they have nothing to lose really.

 !
Good win though.

yeah was a good win, 32k in the ground also. But it was buy 1 adult ticket and take 4kids for £4.
Well done Boro on that then. A bit of encouragement and thought towards the family is always good.
I feel a bit sorry for Les Reed. A deer caugh in the headlights .

I've never heard of Des Reed other than today. Who is he, where did he come from?
i think he was Dowie's assistant. 6 in defense and they still can't defend lmao.

Chalrton today were the worst team i have ever seen come to the riverside. They were shit at everything, passing, defending, their attack was non existent i think they had about 1 shot...
If our finishing was alot better we could have had a bout 5 or 6.
We needed this win and hipefully we can contineue against everton.
