View Full Version : Alan Hutton
First there were reports that we had signed him, then reports he rejected it and now reports he's asked for time to consider the transfer - anyone know what really happened?
He's probably using this "time" to recieve a better offer from Man United.
What do you think, Gers fans?
He is a decent signing for any team, Spurs don't need him as they have a good right back, manchster united have an injured player who will retire soon and also the biggest joke in the world of football... wes brown, manchster united need him more but i cant see them getting him and fergy rarely ever signs in january

I find it hard to believe he's valued at 8 million decent player that he is. I think Rangers would like 8 million for him despite what Ally is saying. He'll go to Spurs I think.
yeah i agree but they don't need him

We'll probably flog Chimbonda to Chelsea for the same price :nodyes:
Seems this one has broken down - but it's still a confusing one. He asked for two-three days to decide and reports are he rejected it a matter of hours after...

"Hutton Rejects The Chance To Join Tottenham
After asking for time to consider the move with his family, Rangers defender Alan Hutton has turned down the chance to join Tottenham."
We still don't know the 100% truth :nodyes:
I've read that Man Utd are now favourites to snap him up

Yeah, he will be hanging on for a better wage packet, same old story.
Yeah, give me a player who sweats blood and tears for his club anyday (we ain't got any at tottenham) rather than dream about his bank balance on match days.

I disagree mate, Robbie Keane, Ledley (when he isn't injured), Salty and maybe Taino are like that I feel. But you can never be sure :animatedfear:

Couldn't comment on the others mentioned, but Keano always gave everything, in every game he played for Leeds.

He's someone who just wants to play football, and doesn't care who for. I can't see him leaving Spurs in the near future.

Yeah, I stand corrected. But I long to see the likes of John Terry and Roy Keane playing for us.

Can we class Ledley King and Jermaine Jenas as cheap substitutes :hahaha:

Yes! Can we have Michael Carrick back, please?

I like him, wish we never sold him, but I don't want him back! Now, bring back Edgar Davids, bring in Wesley Sneijder and our midfield is sorted! :nodyes:
