I hope he stays as I think he will get things right soon.
The media seem to be on his case right now and after the Wigan game in the pub,for the 1st time, there were many people saying how dissalutioned they were with him. Yes his rotation policy makes you wonder at times, and he has got his tactics wrong in some games without doubt.

But this squad he has assembled is not that far away. He has bought some quality players:- Torres, Reina, Alonso, Agger, Babbel, Benniyoun,Crouch, Aurelio, Arbeloa, Lucas. He has also bought the likes of Kuyt, Pennant, Voronin & Sissoko(exellent before his eye injury) who without setting world on fire can all perform on their day.

Add the fact that he also rescued the World class Mascherano from an average west Ham squad where he could hardly get a game. He retained Gerrard, Carra, Sami, Finnan,Kewell & Risse from what was a very average squad that he inherited. That was a squad which included the likes of Cheyrou, Diao & Traore.

If Rafa was to be shown the door by the Yanks (who have to win my trust yet) then I think it would be disastrous for the club as we would see the break-up of this exiting squad.

Rafa has already gave us some Great times and I for one believe more will be on the way if we keep the faith and dont panic.
Im interested in what others think (especially reds)

I agree wiv ya to an extent mate. I just see nothing from Crouch, Voronin or Kuyt week in week out. We need to get another world class striker to partner Torres and a world class central defender. Only then will Rafa's problems be sorted out.

Mancs will soon be over taking your record and with raffa in charge mancs WILL over take your record. Still if pool fans are happy then good luck to them.

The point I was making is if you think they will soon overtake us then you cannot have much faith in Wenger stopping them either!

Hate to agree with a gunners fan, but he's got a point. It's about time Pool pushed for the title. Hard to believe they've never won the prem. Do you relly think Benitez can take them to the top?

They the prem is much harder to win than the cups, with cups you can go on luky streaks, look at middlesbrough when we got to the final of the Uefa Cup, no one expected that, yeah we didn't win but we got to the final.

The Premierleague is a much tougher task and I think United ARE better than Liverpool, so are Arsenal. Arsenal and United have won the league unlike Liverpool. You are always up there but you are just not good enough to win it, maybe its because you concentrate too much on the cups rather than the league.
