Surely no upset here, Chelsea put in a great performance against Everton and Wigan are struggling. Only weak link is Belarouz or however you spell the guys name he is absolutely awful.

Wigan are doing okay, they are abit incosistent. Their home form is good but Chelsea are good away. 0-2 Chelsea sadly.

To be honest Chelsea are the team more likely to slip up this weekend, Wigan will give them a good game, like they always do...

Ronaldo

the title race is all about pressure, the pendulum is on them this weekend, that's if we can beat Villa at 3. They've got wigan at 5:15pm, should be a tough game but they should win it.

They'll also have that pressure of knowing (probably) that there five points behind again.

I think its Going to be a high scoring game with Chelsea winning by more than 2 goals. :)

3-1 Chelsea. Sorry Wigan, but I think Chelsea will be back on form today, and over the Festive period aswell.

1-Ronaldo who had one of those games and rooney does have a moan somtimes.
Against Drogba, Robben, terry, Lampard, Carvalho. Those are the chelski divers and whingers.

both teams are full of cheats, if thats how they want to play let them. There get found out eventually. I think it could work in Wigans favour as there quite physical. Camara is a big loss though.

I was just going to say that's a bit of a hypocritical statement, seeing how chelski is full of divers and whiners/drama queens like Drogba (one of the worst actors and divas in the prem, Robben who is infamous for diving and the rest of them who have had more then thier fair share of moments.

If you want the scum to win, fine, but don't use United's diving/whining as a excuse, because the scum are just as bad, if not worse!

To be fair, its not just those clubs. The premiership is full of divers. Lets be Honest. Man Utd and Chelsea are just bigger profile (and sometimes ther eplayers have bigger ego's!!), so they get all the attention.

After the true HIGH of Everton last week and the hardfought win at Newcastle now is the time to really apply the pressure, we have the momentum and another performance like the last 2 and we have a win in the bag.
I'm just worried we play the chelsea we usually see and drag out a 1-0 bore, but they all count at the end of the day.

Hopefully Sheva can get a goal, i really do feel sorry for him cos it's not like the effort isn't put in, it's just not going for him. Maybe a couple of goals over this period will help but we shall see.

Ronaldo

Poor defending by Wigan for the Lampard goal, they had 5 in a row and nobody saw Lampard behind them. Emile Heskey scoring! It must be a good christmas

30 now after Heskey scored, MOTD is going to be quality. Great games and great goals today. I just hope there is 1 more, by Wigan.

Ronaldo

Attacking throw-in by Henrique Hilario (Chelsea).

Why's he in the other half taking a throw

EDIT: 2-2 Emile Heskey la la la, Emile Heskey la la la :D

94th minute, I was gutted. i thought the game had finished then it said Robben - Goal etc. Well done Wigan they outplayed Chelski yesterday, heskey was class.

Chelsea have done that twice to Wigan in two years, two 90 minute goals at the JJB.

Ahh, I thought Wigan secured that point, last time i looked it was 2-2, a very nice score to see but later found out that Chelski snuck the win in the dieing seconds.

Lucky strike by that diving POS robben too. Went through traffic and Kirkland never had a chance. Very, very unfortunate. The scum keep getting lucky with these last minute wins.

Sorry to bring this up but Chelsea cheared me up on the long trip back from Carlisle.

First of all I have a 9 way bet and all 8 teams win, typically Chelsea throw away a 2 goal lead, then I find out Robben scores in the last minute. Then we (brentford fans) got upgraded to 1st class just before the train stopped at Wigan so we didn't have to mix with the rif-raf. Roman Abramovich eat ya heart out!
