id put this down to the supporters myself. there expectations are an absolute joke. the only way you are going to move forward is if you come back down to earth and give a manager about 5 years to improve the squad.

Exactly what I was going to post. I thought after the Stoke match and the standing ovation he got from the fans, he would've now embarked on the road to success. But the chairman and his board obviously have other reasons.

i think this is righting a wrong- sam allardyce isn't a brilliant manager and shouldn't be considered for any club who don't play hoof ball

I completely agree! The club needs time to rebuild itself from scratch. It takes time to do that. Changing managers evey five minutes just further undermines the foundations, no wonder the club is in bits. What they need is a woman in charge to bring some sanity to the board room.

Be surprised if Shearer takes the job. Give up his punditry to take on a failing team?? Thats the other problem with sacking managers at the drop of a hat, and fans that expect miracles, who the hell is going to want the job. Its professional suicide! Gonna find it harder and harder to attract anyone of any worth!
