fantastic news................for figo and the rest of the championship. he gets money, they get a player who at the age of 102 has never lived off the continent. not only when he comes will he have to adjust to english life, but also a kind of football he will never before have experienced. by the time he has settled into life and the style he will be too old to carry on

how many players manage to come over here at his age and do well? alot come over younger and fail, and most of them go into the less physical more european styled top-league. we've got a 22 year-old whos only just settled into it after 6 months. at 35 figo will take longer but will have less of a career
