A bargain at 20 mill?
"El Nino" is only going to get better & has the potential to be one of our best ever signings!

Totally agree. He is such a skillful player and arguable Rafa's best signing. Would like to see a world class striker pair up with him tho. That would increase his skill and his overall rating by everyone as a player.

i cant believe raf leaves him out sometimes because of his rotation policy
A player of his quality should be playing every game when fit

Exactly mnif. Ya paid 20 million quid for him...his arse better play week in week out!
I think Torres is a brilliant player and deserves as much attention and praise as Berbatov, if not more. Rafa could well have secured his future at the club with such a skillful signing. He should definitely be playing in every game when fit.

Thing is he does play most games now!(exept domestic cups) He was sub for a couple of prem games earlier in the season but he always starts now!

:yikes: How dare you say a thing like that! I havn't seen Torres score 13 and create 16 this season! (I've seen the 13 goals though)
Credit it to Torres though - everyone is going on about Ronaldo's 22 goals this season, Torres has got the same in his first season!

well considering he is a midfielder his goal tally is absolutely amazing.
Torres has got the same in his first season!
Torres - 25 apps, 17 goals
Ronaldo - 24 apps, 22 goals ;)
Anyway Torres is a quality striker, one which Liverpool have needed since Owen left.
Torres is a little special, and is doing the one thing that nobody thought he would do...
Become a hit in his first season... they also said he was not a 20 goal a season player...
He is also surprisingly putting some of the longer time served players at liverpool to shame

His performances & those of the other forwards make you wonder how we coped without him! I have no doubt that if we would have got him one transfer window earlier we would be European Champions now!

Torres has definitely been much better than i thought he would. The thing is, if Benitez goes will Torres want to stay? I think the whole reason why Torres is here is because of Benitez.
