Just out of interest, what's the link between Mark Clattenburg and Liverpool?

No I didn't. Was he biased towards Liverpool, then? Tell me more!

Keith Stroud may be the youngest and most inexperienced refgeree in the Select group, however, he has to be of a high standard to be refereeing in the best league in Football.

I'm happy with Alan SWiley at St Jame's. He always gives solid performences.

Keith Stroud isn't the youngest ref in the Premier League. That honour goes to Mark Clattenburg followed by Lee Probert.

Stroud is, however, probably the least experienced of the bunch.

Yes he was biased to the Pool in many ways: -

1) He was going to show a yellow card (wrongly) to Tony Hibbert when his assistant on the day Mr Steven Gerrard passed a word to him and he brought out the red

2) He only showed a yellow to Kuyt for probably the nastiest-looking tackle so far.

3) He denied Everton a clear cut peno when Carra wrestled down Lescott. Mr Clatts happily waved the appeal away.

It brought me such joy to recall that drama...what a lovely way to win a derby.
