I cant believe the Barcodes have gone for the bottler himself again. Surely its only a matter of time before the pressure gets to him and he does one.

I think that guy who owns Newcastle now is ruling with the heart rather than his head. Perhaps he's too close to the Newcastle support. I can't see Keegan winning anything.
At the moment I don’t think Newcastle have that much pulling power with regards to signing big players. But with Keegan there, someone who’s well respected throughout football, then maybe he can turn it around. Providing he gets thirty odd million of course.

Not all of us are waving Special k boxes thinking our prayers have been answered. I'm still unconvinced!! And still praying!! I was hoping for an exciting fresh appointment, not a return to the past. Too much romance at St James' sometimes. I only hope he, Ashleigh and the majority of happy Toons prove me wrong.

They will give him longer then a season for the main reason they have to, I think he will do well in charge of Keegan, hes a great football man and did a great job last time he managed them.
His passion and entertainment is good to.

Yeah but has he been out of competitive footy too long, and is he still as highly strung and flaky as he used to be? The pressure at the club is worse than ever. Can he handle it or will he cave?
