I can't really say anything for Southgate as its still to early to say. But for Mclaren I would say Juninho was the best signing he made.

Stuart Pearce, good signings.............................im sorry i dont think those fit together in the same sentence. If we were to name managers duff players hes bought i could name a few.

Trabelsi has been ok, for a free hes been good apart from that non of them. If i were Wardle i wouldnt give him a penny in January.

The best signing Taylor(crystal Palace) has made i guess would be Scowcroft.
For Jean-Pierre Papin (RC Strasbourg) it would be Renaud Cohade
But both those those mangers have only been around since the beginning of the season.

To really narrow it down, it's Bergkamp and Henry for me. Henry, specifically, was a wonder signing. A nobody at Juventus, put up front as a striker, and now he has broken countless records and won countless titles. A truly legendary signing.

Yeh I also agree, Henry's story and upcoming in football is impressive really, like you said, he was a random player at Juve and came to Arsenal under Wenger's wing and turned into one of the most noticeable footballers in the world.
