What would be your clubs favourite all time entertainers.

Not necessarily the best or greatest players that have ever worn the shirt of your club, but players that have "entertained you".

Players that have stuck in your mind, maybe just in one game, maybe for a fantastic goal that sticks in your mind.

The following 11, are players that I have fond memories of. All, or most, were also popular with most Leeds United fans.

Keeper - Lucas Radebe

Back 4 - Gary Kelly, Dominic Matteo, Norman Hunter, Tony Dorigo.

Midfield maestros - Vince Hilaire, John Sheridan, Tony Currie, Albert Johanneson.

Mercurial forwards - Duncan McKenzie and the Frank "the playboy" Worthington.

Michael Maidens. Scored his first and only first-team goal at Hartlepool United before his tragic death, and what a fantastic goal it was.

Two class players,Entertaining as fook,Never fully recognised, for the quality they had, because of the way the game was in their time.

Frank was a particular favourite of mine.

He didn't play many games for Leeds, but what a player.

Roy Wegerle for me. What a goal for us against Leeds. Not sure if you remember. My favourite brief player for Leeds was Yeboah. What a couple of goals. The only reason i watch the Premiership years.(and Le Tiss)

Frank Worthington nearly signed for us from leicester but he failed the medical, rumours were rife that he had a dose!

Pavel Srnicek. I will always remember him doing the lap of honour on his hands when Newcastle lifted the 1st division cup against leicester. He was always scarily unpredictable in goal as well - great character!

I vaguely remember the goal, running from deep midfield waltzing past a few Leeds players and slotting it in. He was a class player, drifted about the pitch.

But one of my fondest memories of a game against QPR was an FA cup game in the eighties, we drew you at home, we were in the old 2nd division, you in the old 1st division.

We beat you on the way to the semi, where we got beat by Coventry at Hillsboro.

But at the LU V QPR game it was possible to see outside the ground from inside back then, and hundreds of fans who couldn't get in were in the car park next to The Peacock pub, the fans inside the ground kept chanting to the fans who were locked out, " car park car park give us a song, give us a song, give us a song" Great times, Billy Bremner was manager then.

Would Wegerle get in your QPR entertainers 11.

This is a football forum, I post a thread about FOOTBALL ENTERTAINERS, above is IMO 11 of the greatest entertainers Leeds United have had in their side. Not necessarily the greatest players that have played for Leeds

You lot watch, and have in some case have watched your teams for years, so who is the TOP 11 ENTERTAINERS, that you have seen play for your club.

Any takers?

Interesting thing Ally McCoist said in a book, commenting on big Frank,
He was 36 years old,but nobody could get near him in training!
