Grass roots football at its best, this is how football should be, with home grown talent and cheap tickets
allthough unfortunately it isnt really homegrown talent lol
and CHEAP?!
i beg to differ :p
it'll cost me about £30 at the cheapest to see oxford away..

home grown as in British Players. Yes it is cheap compared to the Premiership

got more foreign players in premiership than home grown players which is a shame

but the quality in the premiership as a whole is better.
you'd expect it to reflect price.
£13 to see weymouth play at home is still damn expensive..

to see arsnal its about £70 if i remember righty, and there playing crap at the moe, to see united is about £27 which i dont see bad for a day out to the field of dreams
£13 is quite expensive for a confrence match.
First time I went to boro's old ground, ayresome park, it was £3 and we were in the old 2nd division. I suppose theres inflation but it shouldn't be that much.
How much is the average Championship match?

well thats the problem. for a conference match, its the average price.
but the average price just happens to be damn expensive lol.
£30 is extortionate for a championship match you could probably see a premiership match for that much.
And I thought Nott'm forest was expensive at £24!!!
I think Barnet tickets (at home) are about £15.
And the Arsenal tickets are ridiculous, your looking at about £100 for food, travel costs at the end of the day.
To see an FA Cup qualifying match I wanted to see, it was going to cost £10 to see teams from the Conference and Ryman leagues. I would say they were home-grown beacuse I don't see/hear hardly any non-british players in sides in the non-league
At Brentford most expensive ticket is £20. I guess Oxford can charge more because there is less competition for football, unless you include Oxford City, and also they used to be in the league

He's my brother and i don't know so i'm also curious now :D
Who ever said about Barnet, they are a rip off, will be my most expensive Hartlepool away game this season just for the match ticket! Shouldn't go into double figures for children in the lower leagues!
At Grimsby Town tickets are between £15 and £17 depending on which stand you sit in. That's League Two.

Boro, £30... We went to fucking Swindon and it cost me £22! SWINDON!

Just about reasonable, most league one teams cost the same though
Most of this season though Grimsby have been having special offers on like kids for a quid, one full paying adult gets two kids in free, one kid pays full and gets an adult in free, etc.
In this Wednesday's edition of our local rag there's vouchers for a £10 entry to the Grimsby v Swindon game. Plus if you wear a Grimsby shirt or paint your face black and white at that game you'll get a voucher to get in to the next home game for £5.
Our chairman loves us you see, always thinking about the fans.
don't get caught into that trap Gary, it's all marketing
