Premier Leagaue Predictions

Birmingham v Derby
Derby are bottom of the league and it looks as if it’s going to stay that way till the end of the season. The Rams would be better off eating grass and head butting each other. Birmingham who are also looking good contenders for relegation will again slip up at home in this one.

Prediction 1-1

Blackburn v Everton
Mark Hughes recently said if Blackburn finishes in the top 4 he will treat his players to a month long holiday in Dubai. Ahhh well, guess they’ll have fun in sunny Lancashire this summer.

Prediction 0-2

Portsmouth v Chelsea
If Pompey were to beat Chelsea tomorrow it would mean having to score and not concede. Something they are very inconsistent at doing. With most of Chelsea’s African players still in their home continent, it’s very difficult to see their defence not slipping up. This should be Anelka’s best game yet.

Prediction 1-3

Reading v Bolton
….And the award for the most unpredictable team in the premiership goes to Reading. Punters beware, putting any money on the West Londoners is guaranteed to have your nails chewed off in 90 minutes. Bolton with losing Anelka will also lose their pride in this heated match which will surely see at least one player sent off.

Prediction 2-2

Spurs v Man United
When will Spurs learn that they need new stability at the back. Ronaldo could have a 3 course meal, a pint and do a little Irish jig before he gets involved in a match and still have enough time to mutilate the opposition. Cheated out of the player of the year by delusional judges earlier on in the year, Ronaldo has shown why he is head and shoulders above any player in the world. A hat trick by ‘Ronny’ should settle this.

Prediction 0-3

Wigan v West Ham
Liverpool and Manchester United this season have been victims to West Ham this season. However the hammers seem to only turn up to matches against the big teams. Wigan with good ol’ Steve-O in the ranks will surely be formidable in this and the rest of the season’s matches. If Mr Antoine is on form, Wigan should win comfortably.

Prediction 2-0

Liverpool v Sunderland
The wrath of the defeat to the hammers last week will surely be felt by the black cats. The annihilation at Anfield will see Stevie G finally showing why Liverpool need his services. Playing at his finest, his inspiration and sublime goals will help Sunderland a step closer to their unwanted relegation.

Prediction 2-0

Newcastle v Middlesbrough
Mr Keegan has yet to bring in anyone in the transfer window except a pensioner by the name of Dennis Wise. Having Mr Unwise as a part of the backroom staff is not going to help the toon army in the short or long term however they should easily be the kings of the Tyne this time around but serious work needs to take place to get the toon back to the glory days.

Prediction 1-0

Fulham v Aston Villa
Villa are like a malfunctioning yo-yo. They seem to take giant strides forward and then little setbacks. They have the quality to finish in the top 5 but they will only be able to achieve that by using the players in their disposable in a good rotation. The squad seems to lose morale after a few wins. Fulham will be relegated this season. Enough said.

Prediction 0-3

Man City v Arsenal
With Manchester United on the horizon in the F.A Cup in 2 weeks time, Arsenal are starting to panic as they now know the premiership is the only thing they have a small chance of winning this season. They do however come to Man City at the best possible time. Drawing with Derby and losing to Sheffield United in their last two matches it is by far the gloomiest period of City’s season so far. Adebayor will draw a blank but Bendetner will prove his worth.

Prediction 0-2
