Everton will monitor the fitness of striker Victor Anichebe (illness) and defender Alan Stubbs, who injured his knee in Saturday's warm-up.

Tim Cahill (knee) and Tony Hibbert (knee) remain sidelined.
Abel Xavier (hamstring) is set to return to the Middlesbrough
squad but boss Gareth Southgate is likely to name an unchanged side.

Robert Huth has resumed training but is some way from match fitness after inconclusive scans on a leg injury.

I don't know what the outcome maybe, we are inconsistent and they are also so anything could happen. I know i wouldn't put any bets on this one as anything could happen.

I just hope we can get a few wins over this period, we already have one.

hopefully we can get a win and another 3 points on the board. Like you said BB, we are very inconsistent and we never know what they are going to do. Maybe we can do it, we have the players available to do it, so why not.

If we do win I think it will be very narrow. 1-0 to boro

Yes i hope your right. Would be great to get 2 wins in a row. It would boost our confidence even more.

We played nice football but couldn't find the final ball, I'm quite pleased with the performance today.

i was pleased with boros defence especially woodgate an pogatetz.

i was also inpressed by everton. both teams centre backs were the reason it was 0-0

Worst game all season for me. Having to walk from the city centre to my house didnt help the mood either. Didnt realise the bus's stopped early today. :(
