Liverpool were reigning champions when Redknapp signed from Bournemouth as a 17-year-old back in 1991.

But Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness, Roy Evans, Gerard Houllier and now Benitez have all failed to emulate the clubâ€™s former championship achievements since then.

Redknapp, now 34, admits he can see no end in sight to their long wait and blames Benitezâ€™s controversial rotation policy for their struggles.

I have a lot of respect for Wenger & for the side he has built. But I just like to point out to the people who are always knocking Rafa that his record of trophys won during the short time he has been at Anfield is better than most!

1 Euro cup, 1 Euro cup r-up, 1 Fa cup, 1 Super Cup, 1 league cup r-up, 1 Super Cup! Not bad for 1st four years (plus what he may win this year)
Add this to the 2 Spanish titles & the Uefa Cup he won at Valencia & it's clear we have a winner!!!!!!!!!
