I have only played on the Xbox 360 myself and its great. So I can't really compare the PS3, the PS3 has better specs, but are they needed? Can you tell the difference? Might have better specs like more memory but I bet half the memory doesn't even get used so your buying memory that you don't need.

Don't plat games myself,But junior loves his ps3.He prefer's it to his 360.

360 = 249

not much differance, oh and yeah as one of the owners of the 360 you will ned to buy a hd-dvd within the next year so you can polayer the bigger games, as the ps3 disk holds 50gb and your dvd holds 9 you are already loosing video and some levels and quality, thats why most 360 games are 720p and most ps3 games are 1080p, so add that to you machine and it works out at 249 + 109 = 358

over priced you say, maybe not, for that price i get a PS3 with freeview which i can record, pause, rewind and i can watch anywhere on my psp,

this uninformed 360 owners

**** the TV, its all about games. Looks like Sony are conning people into getting the PS3 for recording TV. What about the games, there isn't as much as the Xbox!!! I like the xbox is a great cosole but i've not had the PS3 yet.

Not only is there more, the games are cheaper aswell.

well the ps3 hasnt been out for a year in most the world, and there are loads of games out and some big games this year GT5, MGS4, as for the quaity most of the graphics are the same, at the moe they make games for the 360 then put them on the ps3, and add stuff like on COD4 you get extra rain drops on the ps3, bigger explosiions because the console can handle more detail in graphics, when they start doing it the other way round which they just have you will notice the difference in quailty and the size of the games

there the same between 29.99 and 39.99 for a game most on the ps3 are at the bottom end of that usualy 34.99 is there rrp on most games
