This could be the tie of week! maybe even the eventual cup winner may come out of this!
Will Arsenal show Milan that they are can handle their aged and seasoned squad??

if they do score it will be a typical offside/lucky bounce/off the arm goal from Inzagi. I hate that fΩcker! :ranting:

Pre-Match News:
Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia is a doubt for the visit of defending champions AC Milan with a thumb injury.
Striker Emmanuel Adebayor should start after appearing as a substitute during the FA Cup loss to Manchester United while Mathieu Flamini is available.
AC Milan also have a goalkeeper dilemma with Zeljko Kalac struggling with a dislocated finger while Dida is already ruled out with a back injury.
But striker Alexandre Pato returns from an ankle injury while Kaka is also fit.
I think the thumb injury is incorrect, I read somewhere else that Almunia has the flu and that is why he won't be playing.
This will be the match of 2 great teams with bad keepers ;)

i'm not loving, how many games Almunia has missed, at first it was a thumb injury then on the site it says he is sick, what kind of lame excuse is that. I think it's a way of getting Lehman in the team for one last push, which i think is inexcusable, as Almunia is clearly better.

Arsenal (from): Lehmann, Sagna, Gallas, Toure, Clichy, Eboue, Fabregas, Flamini, Hleb, Adebayor, Eduardo, Fabianski, Senderos, Bendtner, Gilberto, J Hoyte, Traore, Walcott, Denilson.
dont like the idea of lemon in goal and eboue on the right but if the rest of the lad are on form I think we have a good chance of winning the game.

They're in full control but better not to speak so soon, anything can happen. Too bad the pass from Abe to Fabergas so heavy, otherwise it would be 1-nil

Yeah mate, losing Nesta is a big blow to AC aswell, if Arsenal fail to win I'd be amazed.

full time. A frustrating night at the Emirates.

Adebayror should have won it late on though. Well done to Milan as a draw at the Emirates is never easy. This result obviously was better for them than it was for Arsenal.

0-0 at home is not a bad result!
Clean sheet could be so valuable!

man i was so nervous throughout the whole game, i bit my nails down to nothing. it was a good game to watch, i think what it lacked in goals it made up in quality. fair play to lemon for the save early on, but his kicking was really poor all night, but great throw. Ade looked a little nervous, like he was trying too hard to score, but i think we'll get a score draw in Milan and progress.

I agree. 0-0 is not a bad result really. Arsenal know exactly what they have to do in Milan.

I agree it's a good result but it's the second best result. Now they have to do what no English club has done, win in Italy :yikes:
... or at least draw 1-1
triniboi101

Its not impossible...just highly unlikely that Arsenal can win at the San Siro albeit a 1-1 draw is still possible.
