It is my belief that a close watch should be put on Shanks tonight.
I feel Mrs Shanks should be consulted, and I will offer my professional help to Shanks, on what is obviously a very difficult and testing time for him.

I totally agree, I hope he starts feeling better soon. Most be awful losing to lower opposition, when you are such a big club these days haha.

I hear he is looking for a place of refuge in Wales, to lick his wounds and recover.

Thats what i like about this forum, You lot are all heart. But the crack is good and im sure that you lot would take it if /when your team loses to a lower div team. By the way i think its what we deserve for not starting with all the BIG GUNS from the start.:hahaha:

What a result? Why didn't Rafa put his big guns on for the first half? Still, there's always the Champions league.

on goals scored, with a game in hand on both third and fourth bottom, against a team that has won once in the league this year and has just been hammered 5-0 in the cup
so- i'll say again:hahaha::roflmao:

Darren, I don't think you fully realise the seriousness of this situation.
We have one [Shanks] maybe 2 [Cat on a hot tin roof] Pool fans in a deep and disturbing depressive state.
This situation needs handling in a careful and structured way.
The understanding of a depressed football brain inside a head that has taken a big shock is essential at this sensitive time.
Now a 1-2 home defeat against a Yorkshire Div 1 team may have caused irreversible damage to the victims.
That is why Darren bringing up the relegation of another club at a time like this, is to be frank, very insensitive and deviates from the poor souls plight.
So have a little respect for Shanks and The Roof Top Lad, they still have the 1-2 defeat on their minds.

Thats the spirit, I reckon Pool and Arsenal threw it today to concentrate on bigger things.
Arsenal also have the hidden agenda on making the scum think they are better than they really are, by letting them stuff them 4-0.
Arsenal for the Prem.
Pool/ Arsenal for the Euro C.
Barnsley/WBA for the FA cup.
