are you a real roofer, if so what do you know about slates, im renovating my house and having a new roof and extending into the roof space, now i have to use actual slate cause of where i live, and i been told welsh slate is the best but arround Â£2.50 a slate, but appraently canadian, spanish and chinese slate is a lot cheaper, but what i want to know is, is it any good, some say spanish is brittle, but i got no idea slate is slate to mem any hel pwould be good

Go for spanish.
You redoing all your roof?
If so spanish would be the cheepest.
My son works for a national roofing supply firm so let me know how size of roof ie gutter to ridge & side to side.
I will then work out what you need and get you a price for the nearest depot to you.

also shanks's baby, i want a rayburn can i link then into central heating or not,

i know the one were getting second hand for about £200 does radiators and water supply, so i can i link it to a combi boiler to heat it up a bit more,

i do computer repair, and i do web hosting, and work on designing websites, i have my own dedicated webserver, i also do cctv systems,

No mate it wont go with a combi!
A rayburn acts as a kind of boiler on its own mate! It may be able to be linked to a conventional system but deffo not a combi system

cheers matey, i will have to think what im going to do then, cause i will ahve rayburn runnign in winter but not in summer, and i wanted so if it was a cold day i could put heating on, going to have to use brain now
