    Keegan swoops for Anfield duo

Found this artcle about Keegan wanting to sign Riisse and Crouch. Ironic really considering how much I've been banging on about how I'd love to have Crouch at the club, but that I hope they don't sign Riisse.

Hey if they come as a pair, thats fine by me! I think it could be a great signing!

Crouch is a very good player and underated in my opinion. What's wrong with Riise? He's a solid, reliable defender who wants to score goals, and he's still only 27.

Nice signings maybe. Will that mean Martins will leave as Owen, Viduka and Crouch all good player.

Riisse's best years are behind him. I'd rather see young players ply their trade in the sacred stripes than put Riisse out there to graze.

What do you mean, put him out to graze? He's hardly an old man.

Well he's been playing like one recently, for club and country.

All players go through a bad patch. Remember Shearer and Owen?

Anyway, you've been on the poor blokes back since he scored that own goal against Chelsea.

I have always rated him quite highly, and would like to see him at Newcastle United. I am not sure if his best days are behind him though.

Well I hope he signs for you and becomes a Toon legend, then you'll eat your words.

I think he would be a very good signing myself. I have always rated him.
