I would love it if it was Kevin Keegan.

middlesbrough sacking southgate for falling attendances is a pathetic excuse, they r only 1 point of the top of the table, the fault really lies with the fans who can't be bothered to go games and back the team, southgate was doing a good job this season, its not his fault boro have a lazy bunch of b astards who call them selves fans who don't bother to come to games and cheer the team on

Hark at the glory hunter from Belfast, fans stay away because of relegation, poor performances on the pitch and most of all being able to afford to go.

What a load of crap. Southgate has turned the club from a comfortable mid table team into a championship team in 3 years. Stats show he's not a good manager, the fans are staying away as the quality of football is terrible and the games we have lost we should have won. I went to the Watford game and the team looked lost, we had 10 min left we were losing 1-0 and we had a throw in, no one went over for about 5 seconds, then two of the players sprinted over once the crowd got on their backs. That was just one of the many problems that I watched on saturday.

Even yesterdays game was poor. 17.5k is an ok crowd for the Championship.

Good enough reason to get rid, until teams drop into the Championship, supporters don't understand what a difficult division it is.

I wouldn't say its that difficult, we have just been ****. The quality of the Championship is piss poor. But we have also been piss poor as a whole.

What i mean is, its a difficult one to try and get out of, its maybe a culture shock for clubs like your own and Newcastle, any team can beat each other.

To be fair he would of been gone a long time ago he was just fortunate he had a loyal chariman, because he always backs his managers.
