Yeah that would have been the best way to go. Weird though, we lose, he stays, we win, he goes. But we can't get anybody worse than him. So I think its a good think, Strachen has been seen at the club, so maybe him as the boss.

he was alright at Celtic, but i dont think hes a particularly good manager. far better than Southgate though imo, first time managers should not manage at the top flight i dont think, theres too much pressure to succeed.
feel a bit sorry for Southgate really, Villa legend and all, and its not like he had a hell of alot of money to throw around, then just wastes what he actually has on a big brazillian lump who couldnt hit his ballbag with his own cock.

oh my God!!! I never thought that would happen. Every time I figured it would it didn't come. It's about time for a change at the club. Who takes temporary charge?

Not suprised really, last night win just papers over the cracks, attendances down, fans booing, Southgate was never management material anyway.

I don't see the hype behind this manager, just like the Glenn Hoddle's of this world, they talk a good game, Strachan did well at Celtic, but so do others, he did ok with Southampton but walked out, was sacked by Coventry. Good luck if 'boro do get him, you'll nedd it.
