Last season was a very open season, will it be the same this time round?

Mickael Tavares joins mcboro
SENEGAL international Mickael Tavares could slot straight into the heart of the Boro midfield tomorrow if his move to England is finalised in time.
The French-born 27-year-old is expected to complete a loan switch to Boro from Hamburg today and travel with the squad to Oakwell for the Championship clash with Barnsley.
Tavares will initially sign until January with the option to extend the deal through to the end of the season if all parties agree.
The experienced central midfielder has played for Alverca in Portugal, French clubs Abbeville, Nancy and Tours, as well as Slavia Prague in the Czech capital before switching to Hamburg. He was loaned to Nuremberg last season.
Tavares has won five caps for Senegal and is set to fly out from the UK after tomorrow’s game to link up with the national squad for the international against Congo DR on September 5.

I've not heard of him either, probably another reject player that the club didn't want.
Found this quote about him on FMTTM:
Just heard it on BBC news and phoned my mate in Germany who is a massive HSV fan.He said he only comes on for bit parts....20 mins or so and is definitely not a star player and will not be missed at HSV....

I've seen him play for Slavia Prague. I don't remember much. And I don't remember him at all in the Bundesliga. He must have never played.

NEW signing Mickael Tavares would like to extend his stay with Boro.
On loan from Hamburg until January, Tavares has settled in well into a midfield holding role and hopes it could yet lead to a longer stay on Teesside.
He said: “I am very happy here. There is a good atmosphere in the dressing room.
“I would like to extend my stay longer if possible.”
Tavares insists there is enough quality in the Boro squad to enable the team to keep climbing the league.
He said: “I have played in different squads and I can see that this one is very good.
“There are a lot of good players here, many of them with Premier League experience, so I am confident that we will have a good season.
“It was an important win against Burnley,” he added.
“Morale is better because we have taken confidence from the win so everybody is looking forward to the next game.”
ive been impressed with him so far

He is very very good and we should snap him up asap, just laughing at our depressing posts about him lol. No, hes really calm on the ball and makes it look so easy with his passing. Great loan signing from Strachan.
