This may seem as formality for Liverpool fans but it's a game that shouldn't be taken lightly.
Liverpool has 3-0 aggregate count going into this match. Although it seems unlikely for PSV to come back from 3 goal deficit, it is something that has happened before. The best example of a great comeback is Liverpool's return against Ac Milan in 2005 CL final.
PSV has many key absentees; Alex, Ibrahim Afellay, Edison Méndez, Jan Kromkamp and Michael Reiziger are all injured. Due to this Koeman has had to add youth team defenders Rens van Eijden and Olivier ter Horst to the bench, but they may not get to play
Liverpool are without Aurelio after rupturing his achilles tendon and Kuyt due to a match suspension. Although Benitez has Sissoko available for this match, Maschereno's current form may have Sissoko sitting on the bench. As well with at 3-0 aggregate, Benitez may choose to rest other players.
Probable teams
Liverpool: Pepe Reina; Steve Finnan, Jamie Carragher, Daniel Agger, John Arne Riise; Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso, Javier Mascherano, Mark González; Craig Bellamy, Peter Crouch.
PSV: Heurelho Gomes; Csaba Fehér, Manuel Da Costa, Dirk Marcellis, Carlos Salcido; Mika Väyrynen, Timmy Simons, Phillip Cocu, Jason Culina; Arouna Koné, Jefferson Farfán.
I can't see PSV doing much, too many injuries and away from home... I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool give PSV a thrashing like Man. Utd. did to Roma.
3-0 win for Liverpool.... make that 4, 2 by Crouch
