Thanks, well im only 15 so i wouldn't remember any of that.

And i totally agree with you as i was saying a manager is only as good as his player's.
Also you have proven he did have alot of knowledge which a couldn't back up before, which is that he got Blackburn into Europe and won the league cup. Thankyou

To be honest the injury record at Newcastle speaks for itself and stretches back years. Even if it happened only during the period Souness was there you would need to question the fitness (&) coaches, they're the people who deal with 'prevention' of injuries.

I would have thought he'd have gone to Sunderland. Blackburn is another Bolton for him and he's not going to have the money he would have at Sunderland. Not that it would be a lot, but it be more than at Blackburn. I guess he'll get them to 5-7 spot and move on to a bigger club. That's if they survive. They win their next two games, which are winnable, then i think they could bring themselves out of it. Player morality is low so we'll see if Allardyce makes a different. I think Sunderland may have made a mistake by taking so long on finding a new manager.

Even though he was second favourite to take the job, I wasn't that sure he'd take it up. He was second favourite to get the Sunderland job too, and people I knew where saying he'd probably prefer to go for that option...but no!

He should be able to pull them out of the relegation zone though!

why not. everyone forgetting what he did at Bolton? Blackburn are similar to Bolton so he would suit the club well i reckon. as for the newcastle job he had, he stood no chance being a success at that deluded club. any manager to do well for them needs years to build a team.. Good appointment in my opinion. blackburn definately wont be relegated.

well thats fair enough, imo they need to improve in certain areas and the board needs to settle their problems although it has died down alot over the past few months, i think if you get a new owner who stays out of team affairs then you will be flying
