How long do you think John Terry Will Be Out For

A horrific injury today, a full on boot to the head and he will be in pain all this week I reckon. Probably be out for a month or longer if anything is broken. Just hope he gets better soon as its horrible when you watch scenes like today.

Amazing how quickly players recover. He had been discharged from hospital and was celebrating victory a few hours after the injury. Will still take a while for him to recover. I really hope he's going to return the same player though. Something like that can really affect his confidence. Whether people like Chelsea or not, Terry is one of the great role models for the game. He doesn't cheat (ok he's a centre back but still), he doesn't always argue with refs even though he is captain (he even got wrongly s/o at spurs and didn't complain) and he is a brilliant footballer.

Yeah I think he'll be missing the next couple of games, just like Cudicini did after Reading. It looked a horrible accident, like you said it might affect his confidence and his bravery.

I did see a rumour on another forum that he broke his jaw, but why would he be discharged a couple hours after the incident if that was the case. I think thats bollox

looked pretty bad when it happened. He's been a real battler the last few weeks with these injuries and he just cant seem to stay out. good for him.

The FA won't let him play for twelve days after the incident I think it is, but knowing him he'll probably be back after that

why is it the FA's problem. It's upto him and chelsea whether he plays or not

It's because of safety measures. Just imagine Chelsea played Man Utd this weekend and both teams were level on points. Chelsea may risk him because of the importance of the game, when it would be dangerous too, obviously that's an extreme, but there should be a neutral deciding.
