This thread is about how each team should go about achieving their goals for this season. Since this is a crucial stage of this season, every team will have to come up with a winning strategy in order to do that. so please give ur views.....

Here's a brief summary of what I think would happen.

Man U- They need to keep their great form going or better until the end of season. They just need to go for another 10-match winning streak in the Premiership and they will definitely win it. They just need to be careful of their own defence which has been prone to errors of late and utilise their squad properly if they want to win the treble.

Chelsea- The blues cannot afford any slip-ups or they would fall behind. Fortunately, they have strong characters in the team to keep them going. Moreover, Sheva has been improving and could prove to play a big part in Chelsea's european ambitions. Drogba needs to continue his hot scoring form to keep chelsea in the hunt for 4 trophies. However I feel the key to Chelsea's possible success would come in the form of Arjen Robben. He is a player that makes an impact anytime.

Liverpool- I am sorry, but I got to admit that the title is almost beyond their reach. The only trophy avaliable would another european cup to their trophy laden cabinet. Liverpool shot themselves in their foot domestically due to massive squad rotation which results in lack of team chemistry, poor selection and wrong deployment of players. But with Rafa's widespread european knowledge, they could go all the way. They just need to keep their good form and maintain 3rd place or try to pip chelsea to 2nd.

Arsenal- FA cup and CL are within their reach. But first, they need to clear tough hurdles in these two competitions. They need to beat Blackburn(hopefully) and beat PSV by 2 goals. As long as they play good attacking football and be a little more direct, they can a least win a trophy(probably FA cup). It is an uphill task for them to win the cl, so don't go for them to achieve european glory this season.

I think we should be Blackburn or atleast draw with PSV (note: possible "famous last words" time here), good review, im presuming you didnt copy that from another site though.

For your information, Arsenal has just been knocked out of the FA cup, which means their only source of silverware, champions league. It will take a mammoth effort to win this trophy to salvage their season.

Let's move on

Bolton- They have a great season so far with experienced players such as Speed and Campo in the heart of their midfield and Nicholas Anelka adding quality to their attack. Captain Kelvin Nolan has been in fine form so far and should receive an england cap soon. They just need to keep up their good form and they can qualify for europe next season. They just need to improve on delivery of passes and kill off opponents early.

Reading- What a fantastic first season they have so far. They have awesome wing play and play to their 150% to give their opponents a run for their money.They have 4 decent strikers that are capable to score 10-15 goals each. They even have some depth in defence and midfield. To finish their season strongly, I recommend that they win all their home games and keep it tight at the back during away games to sneak in a draw or win. But their immediate concern is to quickly tie Sidwell down to a new contract to keep him for the long term.

Everton- Quite a good season so far. Andy Johson, Mikael Arteta, Tim Cahill, Tim Howard and Phil Neville have been performing exceptionally well. I still believe that Johnson still have more to offer and I think he can deliever the goods promptly in this final stretch. They just need to remain mentally strong and they will be fine.

Portsmouth- From relegation material last season to UEFA cup contenders this season. Harry Redknapp has transformed Portsmouth into a solid side to be reckoned with this season. Matt Taylor, Sol Campbell, Linvoy Primus, David James and Gary O'neill has been inspirational this season. Although they have been suffering a dip of late, I am sure Portsmouth can turn the tide to their advantage and surmont a late challenge to Bolton, Reading and Everton. However, I am not impressed with their goal-scoring rate. Their strikers have not been performing well this season, so they need to put in efforts in making set pieces work. They also need to utilise their wings to provide the goals too. Like the saying goes, "To win a game, you need to score often"
