Roberto Martinez Will Manage A Top Four Club

The Latics' head honcho believes his new manager will go on to achieve great success

Chairman Dave Whelan has predicted that Latics manager Roberto Martinez will one day take charge of one of the 'Big Four' in the Premier League.

A big ask ? Martinez has that talent, that ability, and that desire imo i like this guy i wish him all the luck in the world

I think he's done very well so far, and he has a lot of potential to be a top 4 manager but there's a long way to go yet.

I'm not sure he'd welcome that kind of pressure at this stage.

I had the pleasure of watching his Swansea City team at Molineux last season, total football, passing was pleasing on the eye, i see him managing back home in Spain some time in the future

Oh I've no doubt he's the makings of a great manager. They idolised him down here. Great with the media too. I just think if they pile the pressure on, expect too much too soon, it could break him rather than make him.

Expected at most clubs nowadays, too much media coverage of the game, in your face interviews etc, Martinez hndles it well, i think its good in a way that he's moved to Wigan.
