No but if you lost every game 4-3 you would get relegated.
And I think most people would rather see their team win whether it was entertaining or not.

Well i like to be entertained, i don't mind the odd game where we win a boring 1-0 game. But them games turn fans away. If i did have the money i would watch all the games, but as i don't I like to be entertained and you can't blame me for this, can you...?

I don't agree with you at all... If I had paid money to see the club I support play, I would want them to win. Even if that meant them scraping a 1-0 win. Obviously it would be great to see a 7 goal thriller but I'd always perfer Newcastle to win. Also, you say that as if Boro are doing well this season. Well your not exactly doing great are you? A two loses on the trot and your down in the relegation zone...
Finally you keep going on about how football is becoming a bussiness. It's been a bussiness for so long now! It has people that run the club for example Chairmen and managers who employ people for example football players. Football at any level is a bussiness!

Sky has a main part in this 'dieing of football'. The more rights they get over viewed games, the less supporters there will be, simple as. If supporters can watch a game in the comfort of their own home, cheap beer/drink, comfortable and a cheap game, I think they'll be lured to staying home. I don't think you can blame it all on foreign takeovers, there investing in the club, theres a business side to things which is getting way too blown up media wise.
A club like Arsenal will charge for high ticket prices and television rights because of there new stadium, they need the money to stay out of debt and thats where it links onto the problem i've been talking about, Sky.
I simply think if Sky would stop being so greedy, then it could resolve some of this nonsense.
Sky do my head with changing the kick off times all the time. Its hard to arrange your life around 3 oclocks on Saturday when they move the games all over the place its more dificult to see the team.
I agree with Boro Boy. I would ratehr see entertaining games than boring sit tight and hope for the best. I went to Watford on the monday night in the worst weather ever and the city players knocked it in the air all the time to big Danny shittu. It was boring boring boring. playing like that fans wont want to go again. I only go as my dad has a season ticket and i go with but if i didnt have that there was no way i could afford City. I definatly cant aford Away prices. It cost 38 quid to see Wigan at the JJB when they played City. That easily could have had a great atmosphere but know people wont play it therefore the grounds half empty. I agree with the article it doesnt make me less of a fan. Also the point about fashionable teams. I totally agree. I was in the minority at school with a blue shirt on. football after school i would be the only blue in a team full of red shirts. I think the film theres only one Jimmy Grimble sums that issue up very nicely.
