Young Goalie scores twice!
A YOUNG goalie has vowed not to give up after his opposite number beat him twice.
Keeper Craig Chalmers watched helplessly as two length-of-the-pitch punts bounced over his head and into the net in a friendly match last Sunday.
The 12-year-old, who was playing in full-size goals, had no chance with the shots from opposition goalie Sean Fitzgerald, 11.
The amazing efforts - which made Scottish footballing history - got caught by a gale force wind and bounced high over Craig into the top corner.

I wonder if his Dad had a camcorder. It might be on You Tube later.

that's harsh, but it happened to the Englang Keeper so the lad shouldn't worry

chris stringer scored the winner against leeds when he made his debut in the academy against weeds of all teams- and their keeper was 18 so should have been able to save it
there was also a game where martin hodge let a goal-kick in as a proffessional that took a really strange bounce over his head (if it wasn't the bounce he'd have saved it)
freaks happen- just not usually twice in the same game
