Webb admits to penalty 'mistake'
Referee Howard Webb has admitted he should not have awarded the penalty that reinforced Manchester United's stranglehold on the Premier League.
Tottenham led 2-0 at United on Saturday when Webb ruled Heurelho Gomes had fouled Michael Carrick, and United went on to win the match 5-2.

spurs weren't solid at the back not with gomes he was dogdy all afternoon and we were unlucky not to get a goal in the first half, gomes was at his dodgy best at the weekend and united were too good for him

Be4 pen i thought Gomes had one of his best games for spurs
and thought united was very poor and be4 pen had no chance to get in the game but then again, thats all united need ah a ref to bail them out, and it will happen again be4 the end of the season and again after that

being honest spurs should have been down to 10 men early in the first half after that disgraceful 2 footed lunge from palacios

Yes you could be right about Palacios.
But with Tottenham 2-0 up in the second half and playing the way they were, they were just as likely to score a third goal.
