I would venture to bet that if our posts on this forum were compared there would be exactly one person in the entire English-speaking world who would consider you to have a better grasp of the language than do I. Actually, everyone in the thread you're referring to agreed with my point of view because it was a matter of simple common sense and proper English usage. Apparently you consider yourself a majority of one. But please, let's not rehash that same, tired argument. You can't win it anyway.
