But that's who he is! He's a fiery little character who I beieve would argue with his own reflection, but I don't believe in silencing anyone. Let him have his say, if you don't like what he says then you have no need to respond do you? I've argued with him many times and if I can take it then I'm sure all you big strong blokes can. Of course he adds to the forum, I find him really interesting. Leave him alone. None of us are perfect, so let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
So why don't you show me this "bigger forum" where everyone agreed with you so I can see how you asked the question? Did you explain how the use of the word "Sheffield" was intended to refer to the original topic, or did you just say something like "Do you think it's okay to just call Sheffield United 'Sheffield?'" without further explanation? Yeah, that's what I thought....
Funny, but several of the other members have commented that I know English football pretty well. And while I have never claimed to be an expert, it's obvious that you're far from being one yourself.
As for the English language, that's an area where I am an expert. I'm a trained professional with many years of experience in its usage. When you start trying to compare your knowledge of the language favorably to mine, you're only fighting a losing battle and making yourself look even more sad, pathetic and petty.
Now go find something else to do little boy. Quit bothering these good people. They don't need your constant abuse. And I certainly have much better things to do today myself than to hang around here arguing with you.
