This league is always a two horse race between Celtic and Rangers, its always
pretty close though.

The New Look ER,

Thought you might want to have a look coming on good likes,
I could tell the meaning of a word like serene
I got some 'O' Grades when I was sixteen
I can tell the difference between magarine and butter
I can say "Saskatchewan" without starting to stutter
But I can't understand why we let someone else rule our land, cap in hand
Wake up 'N' Smell The Coffee

looks like a nice stadium haggis, just cant beat the old 4 separate stand classic british design.
pardon my naivety, but is it a whole new stadium, or just a facelift of the old easter road?

They've replaced the one side, used to be something of a barn, now it looks good. They have been updating the stadium gradually over a number of years.

agree, it looks very nice by those pics.
now hearts just need to get their asses into gear and update their ground, its fairly hideous on the outside. (my sympathies lie with hearts when it comes to edinburgh, sorry haggis)

They've got plans to update their main stand although I've not heard about that for a while. Still, it could have been a Tesco superstore by now

That is why i thing Villa Park is a great stadium, Still has 4 seperate stands, tho without the big ugly gaps in the corner's, and the facilities at vile park are really good.

Hibs problem was that they HAD to build the new stand this summer or else their planning permission would have been pulled. It is well known that it is very unlikely planning permission would have been granted again as there are more new houses in the area of Easter Road and they would have protested for a number of reasons. It has been a bit rushed!!!!
Hearts have reduced their original plans for their new stand which, prior to the recession, was to include a hotel and flats. Total cost was £57 million. Mr Romanov, Hearts owner, was to fund this through his bank. The new plans are for a stand without the 'add ons' and will be put to the City Council this Nov/Dec. The building work is intended to start next year. Total capacity should be 25,000.
I doubt anyone would disagree that the Tynecastle ground provides one of the best atmospheres in Scotland.
