What is your favourite day

Thinking about watching my team play, I love watching whatever the day of the week.

But what is your favourite day to follow your club.

Saturday/Sunday - maybe a favourite time of the week to follow your club, what with some people working 9-5 Monday- Friday, the week end is a great time to plan a visit to watch your club play at home or away.

Monday night away - maybe you could plan to take a day or more off work and travel, watch the game, stay overnight and maybe take a day in the place that your club have played, visit a few places of interest that you may not have even thought of visiting if it wasn't for your love of football and your club taking you to a new place.

Tuesday away - A MUST.

Whatever the day, enjoy it.

I know I will enjoy Sunday this week, win or lose, I know a good few people I know will have some booze, I will enjoy the day, Leeds may not play at Wembley again for a good few years, but hey so what.

We played Darlo away this year in The JP, it maybe a good few years before we play there again, who knows, but it is not about who, where or when your club plays, it is about being there with them when they do, so forget about the crying prima donnas and follow your club wherever.

Leeds United - We are champions, Champions of Europe

You've inspired me already mr Swan. Too difficult to make it to St James' on a regular basis, but I've registered for away tickets and I plan to make it to the away games nearer South Wales next season. I can't wait!!

But once you start Miss Jones, it can become almost drug like with a grip of iron, the lows are oh so low, but the highs tremendously enjoyable

I'll relish the challenge! I only wish my daughter shared my passion for the game so I could take her with me. Maybe she'll change her mind, there's still time.

I love watching the game any day of the week. MLS has a Thursday night game every week that I quite enjoy, especially if the Revs are playing (as they are next week, I believe...sadly, I won't be there since I'm a 15-hour drive away, gas (petrol!) costs $4 a gallon and public transportation in this country sucks). So it's usually ESPN2 for me!

Saturdays are brilliant for me. Travelling up from Bournemouth on the train with a few mates and a few beers. Making the journey across London on the underground to Seven Sisters and then the speculation while we make the 20 minute walk up to the ground.
A few more beers in one of the local pubs and then walking into White Hart Lane. Soaking up the atmosphere and joining in the songs.

I love Sundays, the sun always seems to shine, the ground is buzzing in anticipation with people in shirt sleeves and sunglasses. Don’t ask why but for me it just seems different to Saturdays.

Midweek cup game at White Hart Lane? The feeling and mood in the stadium, the floodlights, the songs of ‘Come on you Spurs’, the teams coming on, Tottenham scoring, and more songs, ‘Spurs are on their way to Wembley.’
You can’t beat it.

I feel your pain, my friend. I suppose fuel has never been terribly inexpensive over there as it has here for so many years. But then cheap gas and our addiction to the automobile are what nearly killed off rail travel in the U.S. Bus service isn't much to brag about anymore either. Now that flying has become a pain in the ass and we're paying four times what we were in 2001 for fuel, it's best just to stay close to home. I wish I lived in Europe so I could ride the rails...

Yes fuel has always been expensive over here just now it's extortionate!

I don't understand if he dislikes the Swan's threads so much why he feels the need to digrace them with his presence.

Because he loves an argument, and he hates everybody and everything.

What is petrol selling for in the U.K. these days? It's around $4 per gallon (around 2 pounds, I think, at the current conversion rate) these days and is likely headed for $5 within a couple of months. But if I'm not mistaken, you were paying that much in the old days! And most of us still aren't smart enough to change our ways....

Well, Mr. Wednesday just can't help having a dig.

It varies from area to area. Its around £1.10 a litre around here. Can't remember how many litres there are per gallon, so I'm not sure about an exact comparison, but its definitely much more expensive. I've got a small car and it costs £44 for a full tank of unleaded petrol.

you're a bit of a twat too aren't you?

why should i not read a forum that i am a member of?

why should i not post an opinion?

why when one twat like member (well, 2 including yourself) has added little and constantly tried to take the piss since the day he joined should i not be entitled to point out the obvious (that being he's an arsehole and if he can't leave his cluelessness out of it after six months he really should reassess his pathetic little life)?

why do you permanently feel the need to stick your nose in to things that don't concern you and then criticise others for getting involved with things that do concern them?

Wind your head in man. Stop taking it so personally, and if your argument is worthy, then surely it works both ways meaning, you're responding to their opinions, which they are entitled to.

We all love you really! ( Well I do anyway)
