The Hoops made an unsuccessful bid for the player - whom Burnley want around £4 million for - in January.
They have now returned with a £2.75million offer plus £1 million rated Derek Riordan - whom Burnley manager Owen Coyle tried to sign in January - as well as the promise of a friendly match.
But a spokeswoman for the Championship club said: "Nothing has been agreed, no acceptable offers have come in."

Could be what the club want for him?? We were supposedly meant to of offered 3.5m plus Elliot and Potter and when Elliot is rated at 1.1m and Potter about half a million thats 5.1m for some one who has a average of scoring once in 8 games. Too much imo
