when i saw this on the back of the star this morning SAM VS SOU i thought what a load of bull but now im eating my own words, lets just hope sam can keep them up and be as sucsessful there as he was with bolton.

And i would have loved to see souness managing back in the prem

Being a liverpool supporter and a big fan of souness i would love to see him, he has alot of knowlegde and he has shown that when he does the half time show and aftermass for sky. He certainly knows his stuff but seems to be very forgetful!

Wasn't Newcastle in his early days of Management? and Sam showed no knowledge at newcastle either but his record was pretty good at bolton, it just shows how the tydes can change when you move a new club, new players, new atmosphere and they have to create a bond with their fans and sometimes that can be their downfall

if you have no ambitions and your happy with 12th - 15th place in the table then souness and big sam or your men

No he had gotten Blackburn into Europe and won the League Cup before he joined Newcastle. I remember the chants on SSN "Souness Out, we want Souness Out" outside St james' after a game. Personally I think it was the players he inherited that made him go
