    Shakhtar Doneskt v Fulham

Fulham prevailed 2-3 on aggregate after a 1-1 draw tonight in Ukraine and a 2-1 win at Craven Cottage last week. The holders are now out!

I had the privieidge of being at the first leg and Doneskt absolutely dominated Fulham - they were a class apart with some wonderful technical players and excellent on the ball. I really don't know how Fulham survived. But, it's easy to see why they were the champions.

But, Fulham held strong and will host Juventus in the next round - another excellent game to see. Can they go all the way? With Hodgson and Zamora in fine form, maybe?

I can't see Fulham getting past Juventus but they did extremely well beating Shaktar Donetsk.

I reckon they could. They can beat anyone at the Cottage; they just need to keep focused at not concede an away goal as Turin will be extremely hard. That said, they defended exceptionally well in Ukraine so who knows.

You never know, but I think Juventus have a bit too much experience.
