Liverpool v Middlesbrough

Anfield
Wednesday, 18 April
Kick-off: 2000 BST
Coverage on the BBC Sport website & BBC Radio Five Live

===========================

Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy is not fit as he recovers from the knee injury picked up against PSV Eindhoven.

He is the main absentee for the Reds other than long-term injured trio Fabio Aurelio, Harry Kewell and Luis Garcia.

Middlesbrough duo Emanuel Pogatetz and James Morrison return from suspension, while Mark Viduka is also in contention after suffering a stomach bug.
Julio Arca (groin) is a doubt and a late decision will also be made on Robert Huth (muscle tightness).

=======================================

Personally don't think we have a change in hell of beating these. We were awful at the Riverside on Saturday and we will probably get thrashed here. But we are unpredictible, anything could happen, we might win 4-0 (doubt it), you just never know.

its not even worth predicting a score with boro. Hopefully Southgate has gven them a good kick up the arse from saturday. Still, I dont think we will win this game but fingers crossed anyway.

I'd have to say it a tough one to predict as well, anything can happen in football.

However, I have a feeling Liverpool will win this match. 3-2 my prediction

I hope so. We need a point/points from this game because we won't get anything at Old Trafford at the weekend.:animatedfear:

Not much been happening so far, Mascherano has been excellent and has been at the heart of their best moves. Boro non-existent

You're not wrong, like the reverse at Boro. You just had a good chance from Rochemback, Carragher slipped which gave him a a run at goal :yikes:

what a crappy game lol. Both sides are not playing at all well. Pennant is ripping us apart down the right but still he is being left wide open. Hopefully there will be a big improvement in the second half.

That was our only shot in the first half... it must be only a matter of time before Liverpool score, they are dominating the game...

Typical boro, we only play good against the top clubs. Hence why we are playing crap.
