names you may know, Simeon Jackson from Norwich. Dwayne De Rosario who isnt that good but is a pretty big name in MLS. Kevin McKenna, played for Hearts now plays for Koln. Julian De Guzman played in Germany and Spain, now plays for Toronto.

like i said, they arent that great, but they'll have a point to prove. tournament is in the US this time, we're going to win it we dont l ose on our own soil, as you lot found out in 1776

they have a real chance to get out of the group though if they get it right, Guadelupe and Panama aint exactly giants.

In that case i'll say Canada will score through Jackson. Im tipping Jackson to do well next season for Norwich, he is a decent little striker. Remember going to Gillingham away in the cup where he scored, he was excellent throughout the game, done really well for Norwich so far..

i'll have to look out for him, i didnt get to watch them as a Championship side outside of the League and FA cups but ive always liked Norwich, mostly cause of their colors which are the same as University of Oregon and Timbers historically.

He has to take his chance with both hands as he is 24 now, its now or never to make an impact at the top level. I think he has the tools to do it, im not saying he is going to set the league alight but i think he will score double figures next season for Norwich.

I wanted to go to Detroit SO SO SO SO bad, I despise school. I was at Canada's 2-1 friendly WIN against Ecuador in Toronto on Saturday though, good times. Don't want to get my hopes up too high but I imagine the USA isn't playing their strongest team so we could very well take three points. Shame that POS Hoilett is probably gonna pull a Hargreaves on us though.

As for 4-0 you seem to have very selective memory...



Anyway, we know what always happens at the Gold Cup, Jack Warner and the b'ys are going to make sure it's a Mexico-USA final. This is the most obviously fixed tournament in the world, the Chinese league is transparent in comparison.

ANYWAY, I'm gonna be all stereotyically Canadian and take the high road and wish you health care-devoid, twice-Bush-electing, gun-toting Americans luck in the tournament overall, a US win is good for MLS and in a way what's good for MLS is good for us, what with three Canadian teams in it next year.

finished 2-0, Altidore and Dempsey the goalscorers. we never really had to get out of 3rd gear for this one. Howard made one world class save, they gave us a bit of trouble in the second half but never really looked like scoring. we won at a canter, we'll easily top the group.

what a load of bullshit, we beat you handily and could easily have shifted it up several more gears if we needed to. fixed tournament by balls, the reason its always USA-Mexico is because USA and Mexico are far superior teams to the rest of CONCACAF.
