    Garlic Sauce

Why is it you can't buy the garlic sauce you get in kebab shops or at Domino's Pizza in the super market?

I've looked on the shelves of a few now and I can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone know if its easy to make? Is it just a basic white sauce with garlic in it?

infuse some olive oil with garlic, mix it with some mayo, salt, pepper, and a bit of sour cream...voila! (i assume anyway, thats how id make "garlic sauce")

you should ask them next time you get a kebab...tell them that if they dont tell you the secret, you'll call on a large fire breathing dragon which will rise up from the Valleys in power and majesty to devour his children whole

not to worry, just have him summon the spirit of Cu Chulainn to inflict the wrath of the Tuatha de Danann upon him and his family for eternity

(my Irish mythology is shakey, i hope that made sense/was silly enough to be funny )

i dont even know of a place to get kebabs around these parts, they arent a Willamette Valley staple by any means. normally if you have a kebab, its a home cooked one on the grill, but even that is rare from my experience. a kebab van is unheard of, you might find one or two in Portland but ive never seen them.

and nah i dont dip my pizza into anything, i just fold the slice in half and dig in (i like greasy floppy New York style pizza), but other people like to and i know the garlic sauce you're talking about now.
