    Jose Mourinho

Whats your honest opinion on the bloke, seems like he was mainly loved in England, but hated in Italy & Spain. Personally i love the bloke, i think he is a breath of fresh air to the game, adds loads of bite and is hilarious...

Used to hate the bloke at Chelsea, then when he left that's when I started to admire him. He does everything right tactically and with the media, players etc. Whether or not he'd prosper long term at one club with the full power of the board remains to be seen, but overall a world class manager.

    he's just plain woeful.

not taking from his achievements, but really, everything about his public persona (which i can only hope is a front near cameras and he's not that big a dick in person) is terrible. from getting a ref fired, to always playing the victim card whenever he can't accomplish, to always doing or saying something outrageous to hear his own name on Sky Sports at night, i'm beyond sick of him and his shit.

speaking from his lengthy (note the mild sarcasm there) career in Spain so far, he's already blamed the refs for favouring Barcelona, criticized the president of the club, forced the club to give him more control of everything that doesn't concern himself nor his role in the club, broke just about all of the principals he promised when he signed on with the club, claimed that he's provoked, and published a letter on the club stationary that shows his blatant ego expanding faster than the universe.

said letter from the official website:

"Only those who don't know me can dream, make up or believe I may leave Real Madrid at this stage...

I believe many people were surprised by the quality football showcased by Real Madrid during the preseason and it would be surprising news to them if I left the club now. Impossible!

I have a fantastic President who is very intelligent and with whom I have a great friendship. I also have a Director General who works for the club 24 hours a day, so my motivation is enormous and my Madridismo is even greater than that of some pseudo-Madridistas...

There is no way I'm leaving. No way!

I also wish to apologise to Madridistas, and only to them, for my attitude in our last game. Some people are better adapted to the hypocrisy in football than I am, and they hide their faces and speak in whispers deep inside tunnels.

I'm not learning to be a hypocrite, and I don't want to.

Best wishes to all. We'll see each other tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium."

    translation and what i see:

    "dear other Madridistas:

i'm stuck at Madrid until i come up with some meaningful silverware or that old git Ferguson dies, so don't worry. until one of those becomes reality, i'm trapped here and will continue to try and keep shit interesting.

the president is my bitch since i have the media and fans on my side rather than his. i also have a fine slave wearing the general director title.

also, i got kind of carried away in the last match against Barcelona. other people can deal with hypocrisy, i myself can only create it. once i have my own crap flung at me, i tend to lose my head. my bad, but i'm not one to hold things in. i like to run to the media and criticise everyone openly so that they'll hopefully not say anything about me in fear of my rebuttal.

unfortunately, being the one who creates crap all the time, i can't really take it, so i'll continue being a dick.

if you don't show up to see me at the stadium, you're not a real fan of me...i mean the club. whichever seems to be more relevant to get you to come."

for fucks sake, all that was missing was "and don't forget to look out for my mixtape, it's going to be hot and crazy and it's droppin' this September! holla attcha boy!" fuck off already, Spanish football is fucked enough without you Mourinho. always the same shit from him and it's getting old.

the refs tend to favour any clubs big players. tell me you've never seen several iffy calls go in favour of Rooney or Lampard or Arshavin. the club has a lot of high calibre players that do get fouled often, and i'll admit they make a meal of some of their fouls, but it's not like they're not getting hit, kicked, pushed, or pulled often. and it's not like none of his players don't try and use the same thing he accuses everyone else of, if not worse. his players actually tend to attack their opponents when they start losing.

With Barcelona the favourtism is on another level. Pique & Puyol get away with murder and I don't think I've ever seen Messi booked (remember in the Copa Del Rey he smashed the ball into the crowd about 5 seconds after the whistle went) ... its the name 'Messi' that means he gets 10x as much protection/favouritism than any other player. Any slight challenge on a Barca player is a foul or a card. The playacting is there for all to see, which in itself is worthy of a card and a hard punch...Biscuits in particular

i admitted that they make a meal of some fouls. Messi has been booked on the grounds of diving and confrontations / fouls (though not too often, especially in the case of the latter). what do you want me to do, explain the refs interpretation of the game? can't do that. Puyol is a damn good defender and seldom makes horrid decisions and make bad tackles, so i'm not sure where you're going on that front. Pique is a bit over-enthusiastic and both he and Alves are acosted for it from time to time. you think they should recieve more cards though? and again, there are other fouls that happen on the players that don't get called, so exaggerating some so that some of the other ones will stop is just a form of protecting yourself. i'm not saying they should do it (especailly as often as they seem to do it), but at the same time look at their matches against Scumbao, Atletico, or even Espanyol the past few years and you'll see how many fouls they get without any calls.

away from your dislike of our club and the fact that Mourinho seems to be the only person who may or may not "stop" the club, do you condone his behaviours and antics? all the crap that's associated with Mourinho, you're alright with?

I've never liked him, but he is pretty funny. He's really not the right guy for Madrid though.

Here's an interesting read ahead of El Clasico:
Why Mourinho changed tactics in Madrid - European - Football - The Independent

Whenever I've watched Madrid they've looked a class above everyone. They're fortunate Barca haven't been themselves away from home too, but they can only do their own job. "Hala Madrid!"
