Oh hell no, i know for sure if he hire this man the show is over at none of the last three clubs he hs been at has he had any clue at all what he is doing.

Also would he even be able to tell you 11 of our players let alone 25.

Id far rather have an ex international who at lest understand our football and the team, because at least they will bring a little passion to it which is not exactly something avram is well known for.

Michael O'neil at shamrock rover has been interested why not give it to him and jim majilton his assistant both ex internationals.

As far as the dave jones one iv not huge problem with that i just would rather have an irish manager.

Northern Ireland isn't a club though, and he was in charge of the Israeli national team when he was plucked from the wilderness by Portsmouth. No disrespect but if he can do a decent job with Israel he can do a decent job with Northern Ireland.

Actually I would argue this is a good thing. I'm not saying this ever has been or ever would be an issue with Northern Irish football, but surely if he has no idea who any of the players are it's a clean slate and nobody can be picked on reputation.

There is a difference because that was his country, just because england are happy to keeper bringing in foreign coaches doesnt mean that i want him in charge of mine when we have plently of more than adequate northern irish managers to choose from thats the point im making.

And as to your point about the clean slate, we have a population of 1.2 million which is smaller than greater manchester so we dont really have the resources to not pick players with a reputation. What we need is a manager who can inspire the players and make them want to play for their country are you telling me avram grant would be able to do that.
