My email is infected

Well, it's being spoofed and sending spam. I've ran a quick malware detection which came up with nothing and am currently running a full system scan in search of possible problems.

It's hotmail (not changing it at this stage..) , does anyone know how to stop it if these scans come back clean?

happened to mine too....i think that i just left it for a while and they fixed it...made me change my password and prove who i was. i dunno man, might just get rid.

I got booted out my account a couple of months ago after I +1 this site for google and had to do the whole proving thing I've had emails from some contacts like this and theyve stopped now so I'm hoping this will do the same.

I don't get how it's affected me coz i'm ultra safe, never open junk or anything I'm not 'expecting'
