I've got a tree and some lights in one of my bedroom windows, just moved into my new house so got nothing, not even a sofa, i'm sitting on a bean bag ha!

Oh and yes i'm looking forward to it, to see all the family and get pissed.

I guess so. Usually around this time I'm in hibernation/depressed mood (from S.A.D) but I've been feeling ok-ish this year, so it should be good.

i dont either. i hate that it gets dark so early but it doesnt actually change my mood. actually i take that back, for the first week or so its dark it actually does change my mood a bit, but i adjust quickly

Its better actually when your in bed its dark, when you get up its dark easier to sleep. In the summer its light till half ten, eleven oclock then goes dark for a few hours then its light again at 5 ish.

i know, and i love it!!

here though it only stays light til about 10 (though from like 9:30-10:00 is what id call "dusk") and the sun comes up at around 5. i live right smack on the 45th parallel, there are signs all over the area marking where it is. you lot are a bit higher north yeah? at least in the north.

I'm looking forward to it I guess. See the family (well I do anyway) and have a Christmas dinner. As well as get some presents, not too much at my old age but enough. And get hammered.

Christmas starts in october now. By halloween I'm bored with it. All spend spend spend. Panic at the shops. Family arguements. Over indulgence and greed for the sake of it. Ban it I say.

Only I can't tell the missus because she still loves it!!
