They way it will be run is simple: A panel of 3 judges (to be decided later) will post every week an issue that may cause controversy in the football world and 4 teams of 5 members will take in turns to face each other to debate such issues. First we will have friendly debates so that people understand the rules and those not participating can help teams and then we will move onto the competition.

I'm well up for this.
Bring it on.

id be up for it, though i think "4 teams of 5 members" may be a little optimistic.

3 teams of 3 members?
Are you Game Superally?

i think teams would be hard cause you'd have to get people to agree on the issue, they'd have to all be online at the same time, etc...
perhaps start off with a 24 hour heavily moderated (meaning ANYTHING off topic goes) round table debate and see how it takes off, then we can try something?

Count me in too.
I've decided to do it every man for himslef at the moment so ignore the picture on my first post for now.
Debate should go on for a few days until I think it should be finished and onlookers (those not part of the competition) are free to ask questions to keep the debate lively. Other participants not debating must not post their opinions on the issue and wait for the next round. When it is finished, I shall decide which team is the winner, which is decided purely based on the discussion in this topic and nothing else (my personal opinions will not count towards this).
Semi Finals - Round 1
Issue:
Goal Line Technology: Should FIFA bring in cameras, or other technologies into football and implement it soon?
Good luck, and let the debate begin!!
