Evans and Heskey
Arshavin.
Evans and Heskey
When was Heskey good?
Torres.
Birmingham?
Leicester?
I guess...I suppose expectations were lower there. Owen loved him though, he did his donkey work
For me Arshavin was never good in the first place, was just one of those players than shone in a poor league with a team that got the rub of the green, was always gonna look a fraction better at Arsenal, and lets face it Liverpool are that poor at times it no wonder he scored 4 goals past them. Heskey in his Leicester days was pretty scary and was at the best level he ever reached, i remember reading a bit in a book where Martin O'Neill said he used to grab him by his ears in the dressing room, pushing his head into his telling him he was the best striker in the league, it used to motivate him and he basically ran through brick walls having motivation and confidence running through his veins....
Tim Cahill..
IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE A BIT OF BANTER, THEN BUILD A BRIDGE & GET THE FUCK OVER IT!
I always see some class goals he scored for Liverpool on the PL season reviews; him and Owen were pretty good together. With Heskey, he looks half decent when his partner is scoring, like Rooney in the 2010 qualifiers.
Morten Gamst Pedersen. At times looked a world beater under Mark Hughes. Has done nothing of note since.
Id agree with vid i remember years of talk he would go to united to replace giggs and then he just never produced anything ever again. Arshavin looked a player at the last euro but never really got into it at arsenal, doesnt help that almost al of last season they played him up on his own and he flopped miserably and i just dont think his confidence is there to play in the prem.
Going to throw one out that might be controversial but Walcott? Has been at arsenal for 8 years now and doesnt seem to have improved that much, still cant cross doesnt score nearly enough goals and generally doesnt do anything.
